Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 10 August 2026

FitQuest is a sole proprietorship registered in Ontario, Canada. We want disabled people to be able to use FitQuest — to sign up, to train, to talk to their coach, and to cancel — as independently as anyone else.

The standard we work to

We are working towards WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

Ontario's Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (O. Reg. 191/11) sets WCAG 2.0 Level AA as a legal requirement for private organisations with 50 or more employees. FitQuest is far smaller than that, so the regulation does not currently bind us, and we are not going to claim a compliance obligation we do not have. We are working to the newer 2.1 standard anyway, because the point is that people can use the product.

Where we currently stand

Conformance status: non-conformant, and not yet formally audited.

That is the honest answer. We have not run a full accessibility audit, so we are not going to tell you FitQuest is "partially conformant" — that phrase would imply a measurement nobody has taken. Here is what we do know, counted from the code on 6 August 2026.

What is in place:

Known barriers, not yet fixed:

We have not put target dates against those, because a date we invent to look responsive is the same category of thing as a conformance claim we have not measured. They are queued and funded work, not aspirations.

Tell us about a barrier

If any part of FitQuest stops you from doing something, tell us. You do not need to explain why, or describe your disability, or use any particular words.

Alternatives while we improve

FitQuest is a coaching relationship first. If the app is a barrier for you, your coach can deliver anything the app does — your plan, your check-ins, your review — by email, phone, or in person. This is not a lesser version of the service and it does not cost more. No FitQuest offer omits a component, and help with a genuine need is never withheld.

That commitment is not a workaround we invented for this page. It is how the product is designed: the six components of coaching are in every membership at every level, and care is never gated.

Feedback that goes nowhere is not feedback

Accessibility reports are read by Tyson personally. If you do not hear back within two business days, email again — something failed, and we would rather know.
